DermaLab Combo

Multiparameter skin analysis

The DermaLab Combo features up to nine skin parameters in one instrument as well as intuitive application software wirelessly controlled by the included tablet.

In the DermaLab Combo we have concentrated all our knowledge in one flexible concept with the goal to be able to offer all parameters in one instrument. The result is an instrument, which for the first time offers high frequency ultrasound for instant skin assessment in combination with more traditional skin parameters such as elasticity, hydration, sebum, TEWL etc.

Simply customise your DermaLab Combo for the desired application by adding probes as needed.

The DermaLab Combo is well suited for scientific skin analysis and ideal for product testing as well as research work. Operation of the instrument is highly intuitive, fully touch-screen controlled and the gathered data may easily be exported for further processing.

Choose the following parameters in any combination:

High resolution ultrasound

High resolution ultrasound featuring a unique rotating scanning principle. Covering a large area with a small footprint, the probe is specifically developed for applications related to cosmetic procedures and claims substantiation.

Suction cup elasticity with an all new probe design. Adjustable, preset vacuum levels for different skin types and very short measurement times. Ultra-low weight (approx. 7 grams) for minimum skin bias.

Trans-Epidermal Water Loss, a high accuracy and fast responding open chamber diffusion gradient probe with two combined humidity/temperature sensors in 10 mm cylindrical diffusion chamber.

Skin hydration based on skin conductance principle. Two probe designs:
Pin probe with 8 pins and flat faced. Spring-loaded trigger action.

Skin color

Active color sensing probe, clear front for accurate positioning. Illumination by two angled white LED´s. Optical focusing on 7 mm diam. target area. Insensitive to ambient light.

Skin video scope

Variable magnification. Polarised/non-polarised setting to reduce surface reflections.
1.3M pixels, other resolutions available on request.

Skin pH

Probe developed for skin pH determination. Easy to use, high reproducibility.

Comes with calibration kit and table stand.

Skin temperature

Infrared probe for non-contact skin temperature measurement.
High accuracy and reproducibility, read-out in deg. Celsius or deg. Fahrenheit.

Sebum assessment

Oil-specific, microporous sebum collecting material. Does not absorb water (sweat).
Sequential procedure(zero-calibration/sebum collection/measurement).
